Most German WWII aircraft look evil and weird and I just don't like them.
Not so with the 190. It's beautiful.

The D-13 variant with the V-12 is interesting, but not quite as pretty as the original.

Interestingly, it was designed by a man named Kurt Tank. I have also heard that the pilots liked the big radial engine in the front because it helped stop bullets. Wicked plane.

These are bad ass looking. Unlike allied radial fighters of WWII they looked slim rather than looking like flying tubs like the P-47. I always preferred it to the ME109's looks.
